Dear Entrepreneur,
I know what it feels like to look around and wonder if you’re behind.
Someone else seems to be growing faster.
Someone else has built the business you wish you had.
Someone else seems more confident, more experienced, or further ahead.
And you start wondering whether you missed your opportunity.
You haven’t.
Your journey was never supposed to look exactly like someone else’s.
I’ve learned to think about business the same way I think about life.
As a puzzle.
Every problem gives you another piece.
Every mistake teaches you something.
Every difficult customer, failed idea, unexpected obstacle, and uncomfortable decision can become part of your understanding.
That doesn’t mean every decision will work.
It doesn’t mean every business will succeed.
But it does mean that failure doesn’t have to be wasted.
Ask better questions.
What did this teach me?
What am I missing?
What can I do differently?
Who do I need to become to solve this problem?
Those questions have taken me much further than pretending I already had all the answers.
Business, to me, isn’t only about building something successful.
It’s about solving problems.
Creating opportunities.
Helping people.
Building something that matters.
So don’t measure your beginning against someone else’s middle.
Keep learning.
Keep asking questions.
Keep building.
You may not see the whole picture yet.
That’s okay.
You only need to find the next piece.
Keep going.
Kezia
